In this guide, we'll show you how to set up and send an SMS marketing campaign via "Quick send".
To send an SMS quickly via the web interface, go to "Quick send" in the SMS menu.
In the settings window, please fill in the following fields:
– the sender's name
Recipient numbers – the numbers you intend to send the message to
Message content – the text you wish to send to your recipients
Gateway account – the account that this campaign belongs to
Campaign name – can be anything (Optional field)
After filling in the form, check the correctness of the settings and click the "Send" button.

The History page on Miatel’s platform is designed for tracking and analyzing SMS messages. It provides users with detailed information about each message, including its status, recipient, sender, and the operator involved. Users can filter messages by date, time, and status, allowing for precise monitoring of message delivery and identifying any issues that may have occurred.
The table displays comprehensive data for each SMS message, allowing users to track important details such as time of sending, recipient information, and message status:

Choose the sending time from three options - "Immediately", "Select from the file column", or "Choose a specific time". If you select "Choose a specific time", it will be your local time (your computer's time).
Upload the table in the format xlsx or csv with three required columns - the sender's name (Sender ID), the recipient's number, and the message text. In addition, you can specify the time of sending in the fourth column. The time must be specified in the format 31.12.2024 23:59:59
After filling out all three fields on the first stage, proceed to the next step.
The sender's name is indicated in column "A". The recipient's number is indicated in column "B". In column "C" is the text of the message.

On the second page of the campaign settings, match the column values with the data from the table and click next
At the final stage of campaign setup, select an account, check the correctness of the campaign settings and click the "Create" button.

SMS messages can be encoded using different character sets, notably GSM-7, ISO-8859-1 and Unicode. The choice of encoding impacts the maximum length of a message and the number of segments required for transmission.
GSM-7 encoding, the standard for SMS messages, accommodates most characters within its 128 Latin characters, numbers, and select special characters repertoire. Each character occupies one slot within the message, allowing for a maximum message length of 160 characters.

The following characters are included in the GSM-7 character set, but they represent two characters when used in a text message:
ISO-8859-1 is an 8-bit encoding that serves as an intermediate option when a message contains characters that are not present in GSM-7 but are included in the extended Latin set (the first 256 Unicode characters). Each character takes 8 bits, which limits the maximum length of a single message to 140 characters. When a message is segmented, each part is 134 characters long.
The most common example is the non-breaking space. It looks like a regular space but has a different code. If it is copied from a text editor or a web page, the text will be in a different encoding. This can cause the character limit to drop from 160 to 140.

Unicode encoding supports a broader spectrum of characters, including non-Latin languages, emojis, and special symbols. However, each Unicode character occupies two slots, effectively halving the maximum message length to 70 characters.
When an SMS message exceeds the character limit, it undergoes segmentation, dividing it into multiple segments for delivery. Each segment, although sent separately, is seamlessly reassembled on the recipient's device to form the original message.

SMS segmentation is not without limitations. Exceedingly long messages may not be delivered, as carrier networks have constraints on the maximum message length. For GSM-7 messages, the maximum length is 1377 characters, while for Unicode messages, it's 603 characters.
